Role Overview
Oxtron Limited trading as SuperValu Killester is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to independently manage and lead all Human Resources operations for a high-volume retail business employing approximately 150 employees. The role requires strong experience managing Human Resources operations within a fast-paced operational environment and requires the ability to independently support business operations through strategic workforce management, compliance oversight, employee management, and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage end-to-end recruitment including workforce planning, job advertisements, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, onboarding, contract preparation, and induction.
· Identify staffing requirements with management and implement recruitment strategies to maintain operational staffing levels across departments.
· Manage employee relations matters including disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, conflict resolution, attendance management, employee welfare concerns, and workplace investigations.
· Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation, statutory employment requirements, right-to-work verification, employment contracts, employee documentation, probation management, leave records, and internal company policies.
· Monitor employee attendance trends including absenteeism reporting, sick leave management, return-to-work procedures, and attendance compliance reporting.
· Track labour hours, workforce utilisation, overtime expenditure, staffing allocation efficiency, and workforce productivity trends across departments.
· Support payroll administration through employee contract changes, leave adjustments, employee records management, and payroll-related workforce updates.
· Prepare operational workforce reports including labour hour reporting, absence reporting, overtime analysis, staffing requirement analysis, and workforce utilisation reporting for management review.
· Monitor labour cost expenditure and support management through workforce budgeting, staffing cost analysis, labour forecasting, and operational workforce planning.
· Provide HR and workforce planning recommendations to senior management regarding staffing requirements, workforce efficiency, recruitment strategy, employee performance management, and labour cost optimisation.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
· Postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification preferred.
· Experience within retail, FMCG, hospitality, or high-volume operational environments preferred.
· Strong knowledge of Irish employment law, workforce reporting, labour cost monitoring, and Microsoft Excel reporting systems.
· Strong communication, analytical, decision-making, organisational, and problem-solving skills required.
Pay: €38,000.00 per year
