Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised Marketing Creative Assistant with excellent written English to support our marketing team in developing compelling written content. This role is ideal for a strong writer with proven WordPress proficiency who can also lend a hand with graphic content when needed. You will play a key role in content creation, website updates, campaign execution, and day-to-day marketing operations, using AI-assisted tools to speed up production without compromising quality.
Key Responsibilities
Written Content Creation & Website Management
- Write, edit, and publish blog posts, website copy, case studies, and product content
- Build and update pages on WordPress, including formatting, media embeds, and basic SEO fields
- Maintain content consistency, tone of voice, and brand guidelines across all written material
- Repurpose existing content (blogs, transcripts, whitepapers) into social, email, and sales-ready formats
- Use AI-assisted writing tools to speed up first drafts, editing, and content repurposing
- Monitor and maintain website content accuracy, working with the team to keep pages current
Graphic & Visual Content Support (as needed)
- Assist in designing visual content for digital platforms, including social media, email campaigns, and website assets
- Use AI-assisted design tools (such as Canva AI and Adobe Firefly) to generate rapid asset variants and speed up turnaround on templated content
- Support light video editing tasks where required, such as repurposing existing footage using AI-assisted tools (e.g. Descript)
Marketing Support
- Coordinate and support campaign launches, content calendars, and digital advertising assets
- Help manage and organise marketing assets, written content archives, and project files
Requirements
- Excellent written English with proven copywriting or content-writing experience (blogs, web copy, case studies) – most important requirement for this role
- Proven experience in WordPress (essential) – building/editing pages, formatting posts, media embeds, and basic plugin/SEO fields
- Confident using AI-assisted writing tools to speed up drafting and content repurposing, or a strong willingness and ability to learn them quickly
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
- A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team
- Familiarity with social media formats, platform specifications and best practices
- Ability to move from project to project as timelines and priorities change
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field
- Experience with on-page SEO and content optimisation within WordPress
- Experience with social media content creation and management
- Basic graphic design skills or familiarity with AI-assisted design tools (e.g. Canva AI, Adobe Firefly) – useful but not required
