An established and growing property and construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Client-side Project Manager to join its team.
The consultancy delivers a diverse range of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across Ireland, acting on behalf of developers, investors, financial institutions, and private clients. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects from initial feasibility through to completion, within a collaborative and professional environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction projects on behalf of clients, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
This role offers excellent exposure to a wide variety of developments and provides the opportunity to take ownership of projects while working closely with clients, design teams, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects through all stages of the development and construction lifecycle.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, contractors, and specialist consultants.
- Chair project meetings and prepare progress reports.
- Monitor project programmes, budgets, and project milestones.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.
- Assist with procurement and contract administration.
- Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and health & safety performance.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, building regulations and industry best practice.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years' postgraduate experience in construction project management or a similar role.
- Experience delivering residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
- A strong understanding of project delivery, procurement, and construction contracts.
- Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive, client-focused, and solution-oriented approach.
- A full clean driving licence.
Professional membership or chartered status (or progress towards it) is desirable but not essential.
