Role Overview
To provide a friendly, helpful service to our customers, whether in-store or online. On the shop floor, you’ll ensure every interaction is positive, while behind the scenes, you’ll pick, pack, and dispatch online orders accurately and on time. Throughout, you’ll maintain a professional, can-do attitude, making sure both our shop and online customers have a top-notch experience.
In-Store Responsibilities:
- Serve customers with a friendly attitude, assisting with purchases and queries.
- Maintain shop cleanliness.
- Assist team members as needed.
- Stocktaking and inventory control.
- Merchandise stock to boost sales.
- Organize storage areas.
Online Fulfillment Responsibilities
- Pick and pack online orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle customer queries via phone, email, and in person.
- Assist with picking orders.
- Maintain a tidy, organised, and safe packing/dispatch area.
- Provide excellent communication and service to ensure a positive customer experience.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Punctual, reliable, and well-organised.
- Ability to work in a busy environment and meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
- Previous experience in retail, warehousing, or customer service is an advantage but not essential.
- Knowledge of fishing or outdoor sports is ideal.
