The Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient running of the service on a day-to-day basis and safeguarding the continued sustainability of the business.
What we require:
- Experience in School Age Childcare management is an advantage and is preferable but not a necessity as there will be support and training for the successful candidate.
- Day to day running of the Breakfast Club service
- General compliance with Tusla statutory obligations
- First Aid
- Compliance with Pobal inspections and inspectors
- Garda vetting
- Acceptance, recording and safe keeping of children’s records
- Staff rosters
- Daily checking of staff hours / timesheets for payroll
- Monitoring of school classroom registers
- Statutory record keeping
- The ability to lead a team
- The ability to self-motivate and meet targets and deadlines.
- Ability to work in partnership with staff and parents keeping the child at the heart of what we do

- Ensure a safe secure and healthy environment for children, staff and visitors to our school
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent IT skills
Job Type-
Term Time (38 weeks), plus 8% holidays. Potential for additional hours at holiday camps, subject to demand.
Optional: Additional hours available for both term time and out of term time in our sister Sugradh services in Ballyorgan, Kimallock, Glenroe, Tipperary Town.
Hours:
10 hours per week.
7am - 9am, Monday to Friday.
