Sonny's Deli is looking for an organised and enthusiastic Food Preparation Assistant to join our small kitchen team.
We produce fresh food daily for our busy deli, working with high quality ingredients in a fast-moving production kitchen that relies on good systems, consistency and teamwork.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with quality produce in an organised and efficient manner to produce food to a consistently high standard within a well-run kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Sandwich prep
- Assist with the production of scones, sausage rolls and pastries
- Assist with daily food preparation and batch production
- Support the chefs and Kitchen Manager with daily production
- Prepare ingredients for service
- Maintain excellent kitchen organisation and HACCP standards
- Wash dishes and kitchen equipment throughout the day
- Clean and reset the kitchen at the end of each shift
- Assist with all aspects of kitchen hygiene and daily setup
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working in a busy kitchen, deli or café
- Has HACCP knowledge/training
- Enjoys working with fresh, high-quality ingredients
- Produces consistently high standards, even when working at pace
- Understands that great kitchens rely on consistency, organisation and repetition
- Is able to work independently while communicating effectively within a small team
- Is organised, reliable and takes pride in their work
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys contributing to a close-knit team

Pay: From €14.75 per hour
