Responsibilities: Community Engagement and Mobilization: Engage directly with affected communities to build trust, encourage participation, and support inclusive involvement in project activities.
Support Creative, Cultural, and Recreational Activities: Ensure creative, cultural, and recreational activities are organized for different community groups, promoting social interaction, inclusion, and well-being.
Mapping and Resource Mobilization: Identify and map community resources, cultural groups, and creative talents; support them in organizing inclusive activities and integrating MHPSS (Mental Health and Psychosocial Support) principles.
Promote and Strengthen Community Practices: Encourage and strengthen local cultural, religious, and creative traditions—such as sports, theatre, arts, and civic or spiritual events—to enhance community resilience and cohesion.
Support Cultural and Recreational Initiatives: Facilitate and promote activities such as social theatre, art and music workshops, storytelling, poetry, and sports events based on community needs and capacities.
Communication and Accountability: Support daily communication with affected populations, ensure two-way information sharing, collect feedback through established channels, and relay it to the Project Management Team (PMT).
Community Coordination and Guidance: Provide technical guidance to community focal points and volunteers to strengthen community participation and ownership of activities.
Awareness and Outreach: Support awareness campaigns on MHPSS, community well-being, and social inclusion using culturally appropriate messages and communication channels.
Support for Assessments and Data Collection: Assist Social Workers and other team members in conducting community needs assessments, surveys, and mapping exercises to identify individuals or groups needing psychosocial or protection support.

Flexibility and Reporting: Be available to travel between sites as required, prepare brief reports on activities and outcomes, and perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
