DuPont Spectrum is a comprehensive medical plastic component manufacturer with value add and has the largest medical tubing extrusion operations in the world with 18 facilities across 3 continents. Our Tullamore plant which is ISO certified to 13485 and operates in a certified class 8 cleanroom, has vacancy for a Manufacturing Lead Operator working a 3 cycle mid week pattern.
The purpose of the Manufacturing Lead Operator is to add value in the operations process through material issue, manufacturing process, quality consciousness, packing and material dispatch.
The Manufacturing Lead Operator will technically support the manufacturing process in taking ownership for product lines/areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Setup, run and shutdown production processes across all product lines/manufacturing areas including Extrusion, Balloons and assembly etc.
- Support all areas of production process from raw materials to finished goods according to Specifications, Drawings, Parameters and procedures.
- Delegating tasks to team on production line.
- Work closely with the Supervisor to support efficiency with the objective of achieving Scrap, OEE and FPY plant goals.
- Support training and development of Manufacturing employees.
- Communicate effectively with team and departments.
- Support attainment to schedule to achieve OTIF.
- Ensure compliance to GDP, GMP and PPE.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with agreed customer requirements.
- To maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping to ensure area, machines and equipment are maintained in a safe and clean condition.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with all SPG and Dupont safety policies and procedures.
- Responsible for recognizing and reporting safety hazards and early reporting of work-related pain/injury.
- Reporting equipment faults and follow-up for quick resolution
- Any other Duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Computer Literate.
- 6 months plastics experience in a controlled environment (cleanroom) desirable.
