Nature of Position:
The role of the Warehouse operator is an integral in supporting our business activity. The operator is primarily responsible in supporting the safe operation and maintenance and logistical planning of our service centre and ensures that customer service, efficiency and business targets are consistently achieved. The operator may be requested to carry out other operational activities if and when required.
General Responsibilities:
· Coordinate & control the delivery cycle (receipt through to dispatch)
· Efficiently organize daily activities including cleaning, maintenance, repair and conditioning of inbound containers.
· Manage up-to-date container stock levels in temperature controlled rooms.
· Liaise with clients regarding inbound/outbound container cleaning, maintenance, repair and conditioning as required.
· Ensure SOPs re receipt/cleaning/maintenance/repair/conditioning are completed and reported efficiently.
· Review and update SOPs regularly to fully reflect operations.
· Arrange Preventative Maintenance on temperature controlled rooms and all service Centre equipment e.g., Forklift with external contractors as per the PM schedule.
· Ensure temperature controlled Rooms are operating effectively by daily/weekly/monthly review of temperature room profiles.
· Monitor daily/weekly/monthly energy consumption and track trends that may reflect potential equipment failures.
· Ensure all temperature monitoring probes are within calibration and organise calibration with external contractors as required per calibration scheduler
· In conjunction with Biostór operations team measure the profitability of the operation on an ongoing basis and determine staff resourcing when required
· Communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders.
· Coordinating transportation of inbound / outbound containers with 3rd party suppliers
· Updating the relevant daily reports in a timely manner.
· Maintain H&S compliance in all activities.
· Flexible attitude in line with business needs
· Good working knowledge of Word/Excel – Pivot
· Plan and assign consignments . Plan and assign daily workload.
· Liaise with operations team to plan loads effectively and facilitate urgent deliver
· Ensure all relevant documentation is prepared & completed
· Communicate professionally and effectively within the office environment and support other team members
· Ensure all records are completed accurately and issue timely invoicing
· Monitor consignments that could potentially be late and take appropriate action
· Incorporate customer service requirements into the daily pla
· Assist in growing the business when opportunities arise
· Maintain processes and develop additional in-house reports where appropriate
· Maintain and adhere to QEHS system and processes
· Attend Operations team meetings and participate in team decisions
· Liaise effectively with SkyCell Operations team.
· Initiate appropriate corrective action when sub-standard performance or issues arise
· Deliver all agreed KPI’s as per supervisor/team lead
· Undertake other duties from time to time as required
Knowledge, skills and experience required:
· Minimum of 3 years warehouse/logistics experience
· Strong computer literacy – Word/Excel/PP & Pivot
· Valid forklift licence – electric pallet truck certified
· Excellent communication and planning skills
· Must participate in and pass all necessary internal training courses

Pay: €32,500.00-€35,000.00 per year
