The Role
This is a senior, multi-faceted role requiring a confident and hands-on leader capable of managing day-to-day operations across multiple live projects simultaneously. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating cross-functional teams, and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships — all while upholding the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental care.

1. OPERATIONS & COORDINATION

- Manage daily operations across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring efficient and effective delivery at every stage
- Ensure all operations comply with health and safety, quality, and environmental regulations, as well as industry and company standards
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to maximise productivity and meet programme targets
- Coordinate with site managers, design teams, engineers, subcontractors, and local authorities to ensure seamless project execution
- Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to programme delivery
- Plan and oversee all logistics, including materials procurement, permits, and equipment mobilisation
- Ensure all projects are delivered in accordance with technical specifications and quality standards

2. TEAM MANAGEMENT

- Lead and manage site personnel across multiple projects, fostering a positive, safety-first culture
- Ensure adequate workforce levels are maintained across all active sites, managing resource deployment effectively
- Identify, initiate, and implement change control processes and agreements as required
- Facilitate the compilation and compliance of all work and safety files
- Track and report on KPIs, financial performance, and productivity metrics across all projects
- Prepare regular operational reports for senior management, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation

3. CLIENT & STAKEHOLDER LIAISON

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies throughout the project lifecycle
- Attend and lead progress meetings, presenting updates clearly and professionally
- Proactively manage client expectations, resolve conflicts effectively, and ensure a high standard of client satisfaction at all times
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with all project stakeholders, including local authorities and statutory bodies

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Proven experience in a similar operations or project management role, ideally within the water and wastewater industry
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills — essential
- Confident, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across concurrent projects
- Solid understanding of health, safety, quality, and environmental legislation and best practice
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Experience with change control, document management, and operational reporting
- Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
- Full, clean driving licence required
Pay: €35,755.01-€72,000.00 per year
