The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our Operations Team. This is a hands-on role involving the safe movement, handling and processing of goods within our warehouse.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team to ensure materials are received, stored and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and organisation. Full training will be provided, including forklift training for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload and accurately check incoming deliveries.
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Move and organise stock throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate stock locations and keep the warehouse clean and organised.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
- Occasionally accompany company drivers as a Driver's Helper, assisting with the loading and unloading of materials at customer sites.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
Requirements & Skills Essential
- Good level of physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling duties.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Desirable
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
- Forklift experience or certification (training will be provided if required).
The successful candidate will be required to complete Garda Vetting.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 11:00am – 8:00pm
- Friday: 11:00am – 7:00pm
- No weekend, bank holiday or shift work.
Salary
Competitive salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
