About the Role
This is a hands-on, multi-trade role suited to an experienced Property Maintenance Technician with strong practical skills across general building and property maintenance.
The successful candidate will be confident working independently, capable of managing a varied workload, and committed to delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general property maintenance, repairs, and small renovation works
- Complete responsive and reactive maintenance tasks safely and efficiently
- Carry out multi-trade works including carpentry, painting, plastering, tiling, flooring, and general repairs
- Repair and adjust windows, doors, locks, hinges, handles, and associated fittings
- Assist with refurbishment, upgrade, and property improvement works
- Support property clear-outs and general operative duties where required
- Identify maintenance issues and report findings clearly
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients, tenants, property managers, and office staff
- Ensure all works are completed safely, neatly, and to a high standard
- Follow company health and safety procedures at all times
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in property maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a similar multi-trade role
- Valid Safe Pass certification
- Valid Manual Handling certification
- Full clean driving licence
- Strong practical maintenance skills
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Must be authorised to work in Ireland
Desirable
- Trade background in carpentry, painting, plastering, or similar
- Own tools advantageous
- Previous experience in social housing, facilities management, or reactive maintenance
- Good spoken English
