Previous bartending experience is essential for this role
We are now recruiting for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to manage the smooth running of our Restaurant & Bar Dining Space
Key Responsibilities of this role are:
- Upholding constant level of staff productivity
- Ongoing staff training in food items, wine & coffee
- Ensure quality & safety controls followed
- Waste recorded correctly & accounted for
- Keeping department constantly organised & checklists adhered to
- Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Maintain a positive demeanour in a fast-paced environment & equally make use of downtime effectively
- Ensure staff breaks, bathroom, and safety sheets are all filled out and logged
- Keeping staff motivated
- Ensure correct staff breaks are taken in a timely manner
- Assigning sections and delegating tasks
- Liaising with Management to ensure Food & Beverage Department is closed, cleaned & organised for next shift
- A suitable senior bartender would also be considered for hiring with the right knowledge
- Salary negotiable, especially for those with the right experience
Requirements:
- Have experience within a high-volume venue
- Flexibility with shift times
- Be committed to continual personal improvement and advancement in their profession.
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Be a hands-on natural leader
- Level-headed/sensible and consistent in nature, trustworthy and reliable
- Ability to work flexibly under pressure with a good sense of humour
- Approachable with excellent people skills
- Superior customer service skills
- Previous experience and strong knowledge of food and beverage essential
- Strong communicator
