ROSS Group is looking for an energetic and experienced Quality Manager who would be responsible for managing the Quality Department within our Engineering, Construction and Manufacturing businesses.
Working under the guidance of the Group Directors, you will develop and implement Group Quality Strategy, ensure the compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and EN 1090 FPC (Factory Production Control) and conduct audit programs. As a leader in the field, you will be responsible for achieving the highest standards of quality excellence and continuous improvement.

Quality Manager Key Responsibilities:
· Lead Quality Management activities across Ross Engineering, Ross Construction, and Ross Polymer (ISO 9001:2018, ISO 13485:2016 & EN1090) maintaining the compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
· Manage internal audits, management reviews, and external audit preparation, contributing to the positive audit results and successful certifications according to ISO 9001:2018, ISO 13485:2016 & EN1090)
· Streamline and standardize QMS documentation (SOPs, procedures, forms) across the business units, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
· Oversee the implementation and compliance with EN 1090 across Ross Engineering, including fabrication control, weld traceability and quality documentation for CE marking.
· Advocate risk-based approach and product lifecycle planning at Ross Polymer in order to comply with the requirements for the medical devices
Plan & execute the internal audits in all departments and find non-conformities and take corrective actions to ensure that the Quality Management System of the organisation.
· Ensure to carry out investigations regarding the root cause of the product failure, develop a strong system for handling the non-conformance and CAPA, which would lead to improvements in the root cause of the issue and its quick resolution.
· Provide training in ISO standards, process control, documentation, and quality to the cross-functional team.
· Collaborate with Production and Procurement teams for quality development and control of products and their suppliers.
· Play a critical role in driving digital initiatives, including QMS data analysis, dashboard development, and document version control systems.
Promote a culture of quality awareness throughout the organisation, fostering a proactive approach to quality management and improvement.
· Assist with Tender Submissions, Prequalification (PQQ) and Client Quality Requirements by preparing quality documentation, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, ISO standards, and client-specific quality requirements to support successful project bids and delivery
Quality Manager Ideal background:
· Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering or Quality Management related discipline.
· 10+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) implementation and continuous improvement.
· IRCA Certified Quality Management System (QMS) - ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
· IRCA Certified Environmental Management System – ISO 14001 Lead Auditor .
· IRCA Certified Medical Device Quality Management Systems (MDQMS) - ISO 13485 Lead Auditor .
· Excellent knowledge of EN 1090 Factory Production Control (FPC). Strong understanding of welding quality standards (ISO 3834, EN ISO 9606, EN ISO 5817, EN ISO 14731) and CE Marking requirements .
· High level of organisational, planning and project management skills. Excellent stakeholder management skills to engage clients, certification bodies, consultants, and internal teams.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and quality management software (e.g., SafetyCulture/iAuditor, Procore, or similar).
· Full Irish driving licence and willingness to travel to company sites, customer locations, and supplier facilities as required.
