Location: Charleville, Co. Cork (Depot-Based)
Training Centre: Mount Lucas, Co. Offaly
Duration: 2 Years
Year 1: €14.50 per hour (REA agreement) plus €10 daily subsistence pay when onsite

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our new Electrical Overhead Lines Technician Apprenticeship Programme. This is an opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification while working alongside experienced overhead line crews on Ireland's electricity network.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Assist with the construction and maintenance of overhead power lines.
Install and maintain electrical equipment and network infrastructure.
Support fault-finding and repair activities.
Work safely as part of a skilled team delivering critical utility projects.
APPRENTICESHIP STRUCTURE
On-the-job training based from our Charleville depot, working with experienced overhead line crews.
Off-the-job training delivered at an approved training centre in Mount Lucas, Co. Offaly.
NFQ Level 5 Qualification on successful completion.
WHAT YOU NEED
Aged 18 years or older.
Full clean driving licence (manual).
Junior Certificate (or equivalent) including English and Maths, or relevant work experience/pre-apprenticeship training.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Comfortable working outdoors and as part of a team.
Keen interest in electrical, utility, construction or engineering careers.
