The Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive BIM Technician to direct our efforts in producing a suite of BIM models for our expanding product range. We are an award winning, well-established Dublin based manufacturing/wholesale business synonymous with offering market leading brands conforming and certified to the most stringent quality standards.
As a BIM Technician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the design and engineering teams through the development, coordination, and maintenance of accurate and high-quality Building Information Models. This role will lead the implementation and adoption of the organisation’s new BIM library, ensuring consistent, high-quality implementation across all product ranges.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed Revit MEP models that support our product ranges
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of models throughout the design lifecycle, from schematic design to construction documentation
- Support the team in updating models during design revisions, RFI responses, and client feedback rounds
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary collaboration
- Help in developing and maintaining MEP content libraries, templates, and documentation standards
- Assist in aligning BIM product model delivery with ISO 19650 principles
- Help with the standardised rollout of CDE across all relevant product categories
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation, and automation in digital product model delivery
Requirements
- 1-3 years of dedicated BIM experience within an MEP consultancy or a multidisciplinary engineering firm.
- Degree (Level 8 or higher) in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Digital Construction, or a related discipline or equivalent experience in lieu of formal qualification
- Proven track record of creating and maintaining BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- A strong understanding of building services logic, including HVAC, pipework, and associated containment systems.
- Familiarity with regional design codes and industry best practices such as CIBSE, BSRIA or British Standards
- Understanding of ISO 19650 requirements and principles for product models

Pay: €45,000.00-€55,000.00 per year
