Workshop Manager – AutoFastFit
AutoFastFit is a fast-growing automotive parts and fitting business, and we're looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our team and keep operations running smoothly.
The Role
- Oversee day-to-day workshop operations, scheduling, and job flow
- Manage and mentor a team of fitters/technicians, ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met
- Handle stock control for workshop consumables and parts in coordination with the parts team
- Liaise directly with customers on job status, timelines, and any technical issues
- Ensure health & safety standards and equipment maintenance schedules are followed
- Monitor workshop KPIs (turnaround times, job costing, customer satisfaction)
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a workshop, garage, or automotive fitting environment (management experience preferred but not essential)
- Solid knowledge of automotive parts, towbars, and fitting processes — or a strong willingness to learn fast
- Strong organisational and leadership skills; comfortable managing a small team under pressure
- Good communicator, both with customers and staff
- Full clean driving licence required
- Automotive trade qualification (mechanic, technician, etc.) an advantage.
