We are looking for one full-time staff member (or possibly two part-time staff) available to work Monday - Saturday. The successful candidate will be required to work 4 or 5 days per week between the cold deli counter, the shop-floor and the till.
Retail/ deli/ food service experience would be an advantage, however, this is not essential as full training will be provided.
The role encompasses all aspects of the day-to-day running of the shop and deli. The following is a shortlist of the key elements of the job:
- assisting customers and ensuring great customer service at all times
- stocking, cleaning and serving customers at the deli counter while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
- stocking and cleaning around the shop
- co-operating with other staff members to ensure that all necessary tasks are complete and that customer satisfaction is achieved.
- stock control including rotating stock according to best before dates and providing input to generate orders.
