Rockwell is seeking a Regional Contracts Manager to take ownership of engineering project delivery across the Munster region.
This is a key leadership role for a proven Manager who has progressed within an engineering contractor environment and is ready to oversee multiple live projects. They will report to the Operations Director and form part of the business management team where they will have the ability to understand and contribute to our delivery and growth strategy. They will drive operational performance, and act as the primary interface for clients and stakeholders at a regional level.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Delivery & Execution: Lead project teams to successfully delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Management of the site teams, their resources and partners across the region to achieve programme milestones.

Quality: Oversee project quality, defect management, handover documentation, and reporting to ensure high standards are maintained throughout project delivery.

Reporting & Communication: Ensure project teams all produce reporting and planning to allow decision making across the region's projects. Provide regular standardised programme, financial, resource, and risk updates to the Operations Director, supporting informed decision-making.

Commercial & Cost Control: Manage the regions operational budget and ensure all project budgets, forecasts, cost reporting, variations, valuations, final accounts are interrogated and accurate. The identification of commercial risks and opportunities to protect project success. Manage the regional commercial teams locally with the support of the business Commercial Manager.

Contract Administration: Administer contracts in accordance with a variety of contract forms including bespoke. Maintain accurate documentation and managing contractual correspondence for any alteration to the delivery methods or assumptions.

Risk Management & Compliance: Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, legal requirements, and company policies.

Team Leadership & Performance: Lead, mentor, and develop project teams, setting clear objectives, monitoring KPIs, and driving accountability and continuous improvement.

Client & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact to manage expectations and promote repeat business.

Resource Management: Plan and coordinate labour, plant, and materials across projects, ensuring efficient resource utilisation and proactively identifying any resourcing gaps. Ensure accurate planning allows the resource management across the regions and business units by the Operations Director
Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience:

Extensive experience as a Project Manager within an engineering contractor environment, with proven success delivering multiple concurrent projects across a regional portfolio.

Experience in multi-disciplinary project, design build and turnkey is advantageous.

Understand delivery of design support to client teams

Strong leadership experience managing and developing project teams including Site Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and subcontractors to drive performance and accountability.

Demonstrable track record of managing full project lifecycle delivery, including programme management, quality control, risk management, and client interface responsibilities.

Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, variations, valuations, and final accounts, with a focus on protecting margins.

Solid understanding of contract administration (JCT, NEC, and bespoke forms), including management of additional costs, disputes, and contractual correspondence.

Experience delivering complex mechanical, HVAC, or building services projects in fast-paced, high-value construction environments (advantageous).

Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively under pressure and provide clear regional-level reporting and decision support.

Experience in Biopharma, semi-conductor or High tech an advantage.
