Clinical Nurse Manager I
Oncology Triage
Permanent Contract
(Full time - 37.5 hours per week)
Each candidate must:
Be registered on the general division of the register of nurses maintained by the NMBI.
Have at least 3-5 years post registration experience in an acute hospital setting (essential)
Have a qualification in the nursing speciality in question (essential)
2 years experience in the specialist area of medical oncology (essential)
2 years Managerial experience in out-patient/inpatient oncology settings (desirable)
Have experience using the UKONs Triage Assessment Tool (essential)
A working knowledge of risk management, clinical audit and quality metrics
The ability to analyse, report on and effect change in nursing practice.
Have proven clinical and professional ability
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Have good IT skills, with ability to use Microsoft packages e.g. Word, Excel, and Powerpoint etc.
