We currently have vacancies for full-time Housekeeping/Cleaning staff to assist our professional team in the provision of accommodation and ancillary services to Persons Seeking International Protection at our centre in Globe House, Sligo.
About the Job
- Hours of work/shifts are scheduled between 8am - 6pm (shifts are rotated but can work with individual requirements).
- Requirement to work weekends (weekends off are rotated)
- General duties include cleaning all areas of the building to a high standard in accordance with daily/weekly cleaning schedule; customer service; ensuring accommodation units are set up and cleaned for any new arrival etc.
Required Competencies/Experience
- Some experience working in a housekeeping/cleaning capacity
- Be a warm, friendly and approachable person who enjoys working with people in a multi-cultural environment
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Be self motivated and enthusiastic in own duties
