- Participate in and help facilitate Kaizen events, working alongside production teams to identify and eliminate waste.
- Apply lean tools including 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Takt Time analysis, Kanban, and standard work to drive measurable improvements.
- Collect, analyse, and present data to identify opportunities for improvement and track project progress.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and visual management systems.
- Support the delivery of lean awareness training to operators and team leaders.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement and sustain improvements, providing on-the-floor coaching and follow-up.
- Document lean projects thoroughly, recording scope, actions, results, and lessons learned.
- Assist in tracking and reporting improvement project metrics to the Lean Site Lead and Production Managers.
- Contribute to the development of future-state value streams and help teams prioritise improvement actions.
- Support production teams to improve flow, reduce inventory, and improve on-time delivery.
- Comply with all health, safety, and environmental policies, promoting safe working practices at all times.
- Carry out any other duties as required to meet business needs.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
