We are seeking a part-time passionate and experienced bar person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and experience in the day-to-day operations of a bar & restaurant. This is an opportunity to be part of a very busy, vibrant and dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
· Customer service – friendly, welcoming, and attentive to customers.
· Communication – listening well and communicating clearly with customers and
colleagues.
· Product knowledge – knowing beers, wines, spirits, cocktails, and the menu.
· Mixology & serving skills – making drinks accurately, efficiently, and consistently.
· Speed and organisation – staying efficient during busy periods without sacrificing quality.
· Cash handling – processing payments accurately and responsibly.
· Teamwork – working well with all staff and managers.
· Attention to detail – getting orders right and maintaining presentation standards.
· Cleanliness & hygiene – keeping the bar, equipment, and glassware clean and safe.
· Ability to stay calm under pressure – handling busy services and difficult situations
professionally.
· Responsible service – recognising when someone should not be served and following licensing/safety rules.
· Reliability and professionalism – being punctual, dependable, and well presented.
As a minimum, the ideal candidate will have/be:
· 3-5 years’ experience in a busy bar/restaurant environment.
· A friendly, outgoing, polite and professional personality.
· Responsible, honest and trustworthy.
· Able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
· Able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
· Able to work closely with all members of the staff and be willing to assist with anything to ensure a positive and collaborative working environment.
· Flexible to work days, evenings and weekend shifts.
