Job description:
We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Customer Care Administrator to join our busy team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
You will act as the first point of contact for customers & drivers, handling enquiries, resolving delivery issues, and ensuring a smooth and positive customer journey from dispatch to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and online chat in a professional and timely manner
- Investigate and resolve delivery queries, delays, and complaints
- Liaise with drivers, warehouse staff, and operations teams to resolve issues efficiently
- Accurately update internal systems with customer interactions and delivery information
- Process returns, re-deliveries, and delivery amendments
- Monitor daily delivery schedules and proactively communicate with customers
- Support the wider operations team with administrative tasks as required
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role (logistics or delivery experience desirable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
- Confident using IT systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office
- Calm and professional under pressure
