About Greenhill Fruit Farm
Due to the continued growth and expansion of Greenhill Fruit Farm, we are looking for a skilled Fitter/Fabricator to join our Maintenance team. Greenhill Fruit Farm is one of Ireland's leading soft fruit producers, supplying premium strawberries, raspberries and blackberries to major retailers nationwide. This is a varied, hands-on role working across agricultural machinery, packhouse equipment, vehicles and site infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
* Fabrication and welding of steel components and machinery.
* Maintenance, repair and installation of mechanical equipment.
* Diagnose and repair faults on agricultural and packhouse equipment.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
* Repair trailers, conveyors, pumps, hydraulics and other mechanical systems.
* Assist with machinery upgrades, fabrication projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Complete maintenance records accurately.
* Work safely and comply with all Health & Safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
* Experience as a fitter, fabricator, mechanical fitter or maintenance technician.
* Strong welding and fabrication skills (MIG/TIG/Arc).
* Ability to read engineering drawings.
* Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Full driving licence.
Highly Desirable (But Not Essential)
* Diesel mechanic experience.
* Agricultural machinery experience.
* Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
* Basic electrical fault-finding skills.
* Experience operating forklifts, telehandlers or tractors.
