We are recruiting for an experienced IT Systems & Cybersecurity Engineer to support, secure, and improve our Microsoft 365, endpoint, identity, and cloud services.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong Microsoft 365 experience, good troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to cybersecurity. You will help manage users, devices, access, security policies, and core IT systems while supporting the business day to day.
Key Responsibilities

Administer and support Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, users, groups, licensing, and security settings.

Manage Microsoft Entra ID, including MFA, Conditional Access, identity, access control, and user lifecycle processes.

Manage Windows endpoints using Intune, including device compliance, configuration profiles, application deployment, patching, and security baselines.

Support cybersecurity improvements, including endpoint protection, secure configuration, privileged access, vulnerability remediation, and patch compliance.

Monitor Microsoft security tools such as Defender, Secure Score, and related dashboards to identify risks and recommend improvements.

Provide day-to-day IT support for users, devices, applications, email, collaboration tools, and access issues.

Maintain documentation, change records, and audit trails for systems, policies, and configuration changes.

Support wider infrastructure, network, backup, and server-related issues where required, working with third-party providers where appropriate.
Skills & Experience Required

Experience in an IT Support, Systems Administrator, Microsoft 365 Administrator, Endpoint Engineer, Cybersecurity Analyst, or similar role.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.

Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, and identity management.

Experience managing Windows devices with Intune or similar endpoint management tools.

Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, including endpoint security, patching, privileged access, secure configuration, and vulnerability management.

Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and prioritisation skills.
Desirable Experience

Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Purview, or Secure Score.

Windows Autopilot, Intune security baselines, compliance policies, and application deployment.

PowerShell scripting for administration, reporting, or automation.

Basic knowledge of networking, servers, backup, and disaster recovery.

Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment.
