Position: General Warehouse & Stock operative
Reporting to: Warehouse Manager
Company Overview: Digicom is based in Dublin, Ireland. Digicom is an Audio-Visual Unified Communications Systems Integrator in the Business-to-Business marketplace. We have been in business for over 25 years and are looking for an installation engineer to join our projects team. Position Overview: The purpose of the role is to carry out all tasks and activities necessary to ensure the good and proper functioning of the Warehouse and to safely, accurately and efficiently provide the best possible service to internal and external Warehouse customers.
Location: Digicom head office with deliveries / visit to customer sites as required
Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Process - ensure that all Warehouse SOP’s are correctly adhered to
- Receive, check and book-in deliveries
- Pick and dispatch of stock for Installations and Service
- Order Stock replenishment.
- Toner Orders – ship toner orders accurately and on time, each day.
- Storage – ensure that all materials are stored in a safe, tidy and efficient manner.
- Housekeeping - keep the Warehouse and work area clean, tidy and safe.
- Administration - prepare delivery documentation. • Safety - adhere to all company and legislative Environmental, Health & Safety requirements and safely operate all warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Delivery / Collection of Items to site as required
- Additional body to help lift large displays into position on site, as required.
- Record serial numbers of equipment on dispatch and ensure that these are labelled correctly for each specific location (particularly on the big jobs)
Qualifications / Experience: Required:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Warehousing best practice - at least 2 years’ Warehousing experience.
- Full, clean driving license.
- Fork-lift (Reach) licence.
- Manual Handling training.
- Intermediate IT skills – ability to pick-up new systems quickly.
Desired:
- Warehousing / inventory management qualification.
- Experience of stock management software.
- Some knowledge or understanding of Managed Print Services or Audio-Visual systems and equipment.
- Health and safety training.

Pay: €32,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
