We are seeking an experienced and skilled Plasterer to join our growing construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of internal and external plastering works on residential and commercial projects, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and workmanship. The role requires a high level of technical ability, attention to detail, and the capability to work independently as well as part of a team while meeting project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare walls, ceilings, and other surfaces for plastering by cleaning, repairing, and applying bonding agents where required.
· Apply internal and external plaster finishes to walls, ceilings, partitions, and other building surfaces.
· Install and finish plasterboard, drywall systems, and suspended ceilings.
· Apply skim coats, render, and decorative finishes to achieve a smooth, high-quality surface.
· Measure, cut, fit, and securely install plasterboard panels.
· Repair damaged plasterwork and restore existing finishes to a professional standard.
· Mix plastering materials according to manufacturer specifications and project requirements.
· Apply plastering techniques that ensure smooth, durable, and visually consistent finishes.
· Ensure all plastering work complies with building regulations, project specifications, and company quality standards.
· Maintain plastering tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organised condition.
· Work collaboratively with site managers and other trades to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
· Follow all company health and safety procedures and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
· 39 Hours Per Week.
Qualifications & Experience
· Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Plasterer.
· Proven experience in residential and commercial plastering.
· Experience with plasterboard installation, skimming, rendering, patch repairs, and finishing work.
· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
· Strong knowledge of plastering materials, techniques, and finishing methods.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
Pay: €40,000.00 per year
