Key Responsibilities:
- Operate feed mill machinery, including mixers, and conveyors.
- Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients according to approved feed formulations.
- Monitor production processes to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any faults or maintenance needs.
- Clean machinery and work areas to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished feed products.
- Maintain accurate production records and inventory documentation.
- Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Work collaboratively with maintenance, quality assurance, and warehouse teams.
- Assist with stock control and inventory management as required.
Qualifications:
- Leaving Cert (preferred).
- Previous experience in a feed mill, grain handling, manufacturing, or production environment is an advantage.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment (certification may be required).
- Good mathematical and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed.
