Our Group Finance team supports business performance through strong financial reporting, analysis, and commercial insight. We are currently seeking a Cost & Management Accountant to join our team in Galway.
About the Role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Cost & Management Accountant will play a key role in improving cost control, financial reporting, and operational performance across our multi-site business.
This is a commercially focused role combining management accounting, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, margin performance, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L reporting, and financial analysis across the Group business units.
- Analyse key operational costs, including food cost, labour cost, waste, and overheads.
- Develop KPI reporting and provide insight into business performance.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Work closely with operational managers to improve cost control and profitability.
- Assist with financial reporting, audit requirements, and process improvements.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, controls, and reporting.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or CPA).
- Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in management accounting.
- Strong experience in preparing management accounts and financial analysis.
- Excellent Excel skills and experience with accounting/ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
Experience in cost accounting, hospitality, retail, food & beverage, or another multi-site environment would be highly desirable.
