TBB Fitness is looking for an ambitious, energetic and people-focused Gym & Padel Centre Manager to lead our brand-new fitness facility in Nenagh.
TBB Nenagh will combine a state-of-the-art commercial gym with premium indoor padel courts, creating one of Ireland's most exciting fitness destinations. As Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, commercial performance and overall member experience across both the gym and padel facilities.
You will play a key role in establishing the culture of the club from day one, building a high-performing team, growing the membership base and creating an environment where members enjoy exceptional facilities, outstanding service and a genuine sense of community.

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Facility Management
- Oversee the daily operation of TBB Nenagh, ensuring the club runs efficiently and professionally at all times.
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation and maintenance throughout the facility.
- Ensure all gym equipment is safe, operational and maintained to the highest standard.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, health & safety legislation and industry best practice.
- Manage operational costs responsibly while maintaining an outstanding member experience.
- Provide regular operational updates and performance reports to senior management.
Leadership & Team Management
- Build and lead a positive, motivated and high-performing team.
- Recruit, onboard and develop staff alongside the senior management team.
- Lead by example, creating a culture centred around customer service, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Manage staff rotas to ensure excellent coverage and service throughout the week.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews, supporting staff development and progression.
- Work closely with the wider TBB leadership team to deliver company objectives and maintain consistent standards across all locations.
Membership Growth & Commercial Performance
- Drive membership sales through exceptional service, community engagement and local outreach.
- Support marketing campaigns, promotional events and member initiatives to increase awareness of TBB Nenagh.
- Identify opportunities to grow secondary revenue streams including personal training, premium services, retail and future offerings.
- Monitor membership trends, retention and key performance indicators, implementing strategies to improve performance.
- Deliver commercial targets while maintaining an exceptional member experience.
Member Experience
- Create a welcoming, friendly and inclusive atmosphere where every member feels valued.
- Build strong relationships with members and become a visible presence on the gym floor.
- Handle member feedback and resolve issues quickly, professionally and positively.
- Foster a strong sense of community through events, challenges and member engagement initiatives.
- Ensure every interaction reflects the high standards and values of the TBB brand.
What We're Looking For
- Previous management experience within the fitness, leisure, hospitality or customer service industry.
- A natural leader with excellent communication and people management skills.
- Commercially minded with a passion for delivering results.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to lead from the front.
- Passion for health, fitness and building strong communities.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends where required.
