Job Summary
The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving corporate revenue for The Grace, Westport Estate by developing strong relationships with local, national, and international corporate clients. The role focuses on securing meetings, conferences, incentive travel, executive retreats, and corporate accommodation business while positioning The Grace, Westport Estate as a premier destination. The property offers meeting and event facilities for groups ranging from intimate executive gatherings to conferences of up to 300 delegates, making corporate business a key revenue stream.
Principle Responsibilities
Corporate Sales Development
Conduct sales calls, site inspections, presentations, and networking activities to generate new business opportunities.
Attend trade shows, industry events, and business networking functions to promote the hotel.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, travel management companies, and event planners.
Manage key accounts and negotiate preferred corporate rates and contracts.
Ensure exceptional client service from initial enquiry through post-event follow-up.
Maximise repeat business and client retention.
Promote the hotel's meeting rooms, conference facilities, team-building experiences, and corporate retreat offerings.
Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and contracts for meetings, conferences, and corporate events.
Work closely with the Events and Operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of all corporate functions.
Conduct property tours and showcase the unique benefits of hosting events within Westport Estate.
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
Support the development of sales strategies to grow corporate room nights, event revenue, and ancillary spend.
Maintain accurate records and forecasts using CRM and sales management systems.

Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in hotel sales, corporate sales, business development, or MICE sales.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
Highly organised with strong time-management skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Full driving licence and flexibility to travel for client meetings and industry events.
