Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Floor Support
Provide a warm, friendly, and helpful shopping experience to all customers.
Assist shoppers in locating items across our diverse international food and grocery departments.
Address basic product inquiries and guide customers to specialty sections or counter staff when needed.
Merchandising & Stock Management
Receive delivery shipments, unbox stock, and safely transport goods from the stockroom to the retail floor.
Replenish shelves, displays, and end-caps efficiently following FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation principles.
Ensure accurate pricing, promotional tags, and shelf-edge labels are clearly displayed at all times.
Assist with routine inventory counts and report low-stock or damaged items to supervisors.
Checkout & Cash Handling
Operate POS cash registers quickly and accurately.
Handle customer transactions via cash, card, and digital payment methods with high attention to detail.
Process returns, exchanges, and customer vouchers in accordance with store policy.
Store Maintenance & Hygiene
Maintain high standards of store cleanliness across aisles, checkout zones, and staff areas.
Keep walkways clear of hazards, boxes, and equipment to ensure a safe shopping environment.
Adhere to basic food safety, hygiene, and waste separation protocols.
Requirements & Skills
Experience: Prior experience in retail, customer service, or hospitality is preferred, but motivated candidates with a strong work ethic are welcome to apply (full training provided).
Communication: Good verbal English skills to interact clearly with customers and colleagues. Knowledge of additional languages is a bonus given our international product lines.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift boxes/crates (up to 15 kg), and restock high and low shelves.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and peak holiday periods.
Teamwork: Positive attitude, punctuality, and a proactive willingness to help team members across departments.
Pay: €28,300.00-€46,748.85 per year
