Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links is seeking an experienced General Manager, Food & Beverage to lead our on-site dining operations. Set on the historic Jameson family estate overlooking the Velvet Strand, our resort is home to three distinctive outlets: the 1780 Restaurant, the Seaview, and the historic Jameson Bar, alongside banqueting and event catering for up to 300 delegates.

About the Role: You will have full operational and commercial responsibility and accountability for all F&B outlets, banqueting, and event catering across the resort. We are looking for a leader who brings exceptional guest experience standards, elevating service, quality, and guest satisfaction across every outlet. An entrepreneurial and business owner mindset is required to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations across all restaurants and banqueting/event catering spaces
Set and deliver F&B budgets, cost controls, and revenue targets
Monitor P&L performance and determine business priorities
Recruit, train, and develop leadership team and front-line teams
Champion 5-star luxury service standards and guest experience across all outlets
Partner with Sales & Events on weddings, conferences, and events
Develop menus and beverage programmes that reflect the resort's Irish whiskey heritage and coastal setting
Report to senior management on performance, guest feedback, and improvement initiatives
What You Have:
Proven experience as a GM or senior F&B leader in a multi-outlet restaurant brand, hotel or resort environment
Strong track record delivering exceptional guest experiences, ideally within a luxury hotel, resort, or fine-dining setting
Strong financial acumen and experience managing all aspects of the P&L
Excellent leadership and team development skills
Experience with banqueting/events at scale (weddings, conferences) a requirement
Passion for hospitality, Irish food & drink culture, and guest experience
Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as required by resort operations
