Business Analyst
We are currently recruiting for the position of Business Analyst to join our busy team in New Ross, Co. Wexford.
This is a new growth driven role to add to our existing team of professionals who provide support to a growing business, with customer bases in Ireland, the UK and across Europe. The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a team in a busy office environment.
Reporting to the Credit Control Manager you will be responsible for the following duties;
- Processing of credit applications on a daily basis.
- Preparing a set of daily, weekly & monthly assigned reports.
- Highlighting trends from data analysis and making recommendations.
- Assisting in the digitalisation / automation of the reporting function through Power BI
- Assist in building dashboards in Power BI displaying KPIs for senior management
- Maintaining the integrity of data sets ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Providing holiday cover for other positions as needed
The ideal candidate will have;
- Third level degree in any of the following disciplines - business management, accounting or relevant field.
- Should be able to demonstrate mastery of Excel analysis tools.
- Strong ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to projects.
- Ability to assimilate large volumes of information and make decisions based on same.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem solving.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise.
- Strong ability to work independently and achieve deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with other teams.
- Power BI / AI / Digitalisation experience would be an advantage
Full training on systems and mentoring provided to the successful candidate.
This is a full-time permanent role with office hours Monday to Friday.
