Oikos is looking for a experienced Site Joiner & Furniture Fitter to join our team doing second fix carpentry & installation of high-end fitted joinery in South Dublin.
We are looking for a permanent, full time candidate with a minimum of 6 years experience.
The role suits someone who has a keen eye for detail, takes pride in their work, is able to plan their approach to a job and troubleshoot any issues if they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Do setout based on drawings & site dimensions
- Construction of internal studwork
- Installation of second fix carpentry, including doors, architraves & skirtings, along with other related joinery .
- Install bespoke furniture to a high standard, working from shop layouts
- Carry out accurate fitting, scribing, levelling, and final adjustments
- Communicate clearly with management & site staff
- Coordinate with other trades as required
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Maintain a professional & friendly attitude at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with second fix carpentry and installation of bespoke joinery
- Ability to read & interpret architectural drawings
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
- Own tools & transport required
- Manual handling & Safe Pass
- Ability to use AutoCAD an advantage
Pay & hours:
- Salary: From €54,000 per year
- Hours: 8-hour working day
- Full-time permanent role with pension
- RCT candidates will be considered if suitable
