About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Site Engineer to join our team on a large civil infrastructure project in Mayo. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer to develop their career while playing a key role in the successful delivery of major civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of civil engineering projects to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate daily site activities with the Senior Site Engineer, Site Agent, Construction Manager, Site Foreman, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Carry out setting out, surveying, site measurements and quality inspections.
- Plan and coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to support project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) standards and company procedures.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, progress reporting and maintaining accurate site records.
- Monitor productivity, material usage and plant efficiency to support cost control.
- Contribute to engineering innovation, continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline.
- 2–5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar engineering software.
- Experience using digital project and information management systems.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a project team.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and professional development.
