We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Junior Construction Site Engineer to join our expanding team, supporting the successful delivery of construction projects across Shannon and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with site setting out using Total Station, GPS, and other surveying equipment.
- Support the day-to-day coordination of construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, subcontractors, and design consultants.
- Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and engineering documentation.
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
- Attend site meetings and assist in resolving technical issues.
- Review engineering drawings and support project planning.
- Assist with project handover, including preparation of as-built drawings and documentation.
- Promote best practices in construction quality and safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience in a construction or site engineering role.
- Experience with Total Station, GPS, or surveying equipment is desirable.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of Irish Health & Safety regulations.
- Full Irish driving licence.
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
Pay: €33,559.37-€53,760.48 per year
