Blackbird Strandhill are looking for experienced chefs to join our team!
Blackbird is a Bakery, Cafe & Coffee Roaster based right by the sea in Strandhill Co.Sligo.
We are a busy cafe, serving all day brunch and delcious coffee roasted freshly in house every week. We are looking for someone with a love of coffee, and very good knowledge in brewing as well as latte art. This position may also require time on the cafe floor, so experience waiting in a fast pace busy restaurant / bar / cafe is a must.

Are candidate must
- Have a good knowledge in the preparation and handling of food
- Consider themselves a friendly and out-going person,
- Work very well as a team in a fast paced environment
- Be available work week days and weekends throughout summer and after the summer has ended.
Although we are looking for candidates with professional kitchen experience, with will consider candidates who are confident in their abilities / home cook experience.
We are looking for a long term, committed team member to join us for the foreseeable future! If you have to return to college or school, unfortunately this position probably isn't for you.
