Role Description
We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Finance & Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Dublin on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). This is an office-based maternity cover position, with scope to develop into a full-time role.
Working closely with our finance team, project managers and external accounting partner, you'll play a key part in keeping our day-to-day financial operations running smoothly - from invoicing and credit control through to reporting and supplier payments.
Qualifications
- Skills in finance and accounting, including basic bookkeeping, reconciliations, and familiarity with accounting software
- Credit control experience - monitoring outstanding balances and supporting the collection of overdue accounts
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners
- A certificate or diploma in finance, accounting, or a related field (beneficial)
- Experience preparing regular financial and sales reports, with strong Excel skills - including formulas, pivot tables and dashboards - to present accurate, clear information to management and the wider group
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail, with confidence using spreadsheets and ERP systems
- Experience in a similar finance or accounts support role, ideally within a technology, AV, or services environment (an advantage)
- Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain the confidentiality of financial information
