O’Reilly’s Wholesale Ltd is a FMCG wholesale distribution company based in Newry, established in 1959 with a reputable customer base covering all of Ireland. We are currently recruiting a Sales Representative to increase and develop our customer base in the Southeast.
**ALL applicants must be residing in the Southeast of Ireland, hold a FULL EU passport and must have experience in the FMCG industry**
Job Description: Field Sales Representative – Southeast
The successful candidate will be covering the southeast of Ireland: Waterford, Wexford, Carlow, and is required to be based in the territory. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be part of the company sales team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Opening new accounts, servicing some existing calls and optimising sales and distribution within the assigned territory
- Promoting and developing all products
- New product listing and promotional planning
- Building strong relationships throughout the territory with store managers and store personnel.
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Responding to new leads within a set timeframe to ensure excellent standards of customer service are met.
- Retention and revenue growth of an existing customer base
Key Skills and Competencies
The suitable candidate should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Proven experience in a similar sales role with a proven record of delivering on targets is essential.
- Ability to develop new business through Cold Calling & referrals.
- The ability to build strong working relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation skills combined with the ability to influence others.
- A full driving licence is essential for this role.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications desired although not essential
Requirements
- Be able to work on their own initiative and be able to manage their area effectively.
- They will be well presented with good communication skills.
- They will manage each of the accounts efficiently and effectively.
- Present a professional image of the company.
- Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills

Remuneration:
Package includes a competitive salary - €50,000.
